@CitImmCanada If a candidate's ECA report expired but his express entry profile was still active and he received ITA under FSW program. Can he apply with the same ITA if he receives a new ECA report before applying and attach that with the application?
"This is political meddling at its most mendacious."
"the political choice to meet numerical targets, by allowing temporary residents to become permanent residents, meant that all other classes of immigrants became a lower priority."

If you care about the economics of 🇨🇦 immigration, this should concern you. "Super Saturday" created a backlog. Applicant pool now filling up with top talent who aren't receiving offers b/c the system has been shut down. How many are going elsewhere in frustration? #ExpressEntry
@olivier27@SeanFraserMP IRCC wreaked havoc. In order to meet 2021 target, they gave free PR status to candidates who can't even speak English/French and possess dubious educational credentials and experience. Canada needs highly skilled migrants that can contribute to the Canadian economy.
@ONTatwork@achev_ca The federal government halted FSW draws for no apparent reason. IRCC needs to resume FSW draws to help fix Ontario's labour shortage. Ontario government should ask the federal government to resume draws ASAP.

@cathmckenna 2/2 In 2021, such candidates were invited to become permanent residents. Meeting the immigration target at the expense of fairness, transparency and quality is not fair at all. It will hurt the Canadian economy in the long run.
@cathmckenna Totally agree that Canada selects the best and the brightest and it was the case till 2020. In 2021, IRCC invited people with poor English/French/education instead of highly qualified professionals just to meet the target. Compromising on quality isn't fair.
@cathmckenna 1/2 Candidates who are unable to communicate in English or French and possess dubious educational credentials/work experience can't contribute to the Canadian economy or bring new ideas.

@melaniejoly Worth mentioning Canada is facing a historical labour shortage. Focusing exclusively on in-Canada clients is a recipe for disaster. Canada needs world-class talent and FSW pool serves the purpose. IRCC should resume FSW and FST draws without any further delay.
