@vstarmp4 and Michael Jackson himself was known to be sensitive about how he was perceived (which I’m sure you know) so joking with misgendering like that still isn’t a great look lmao
The issue is, newer fans are treating Michael like a K-POP boy and applying k-fandom or just new age fandom tactics to this one. We moonwalkers DONT hold space for what’s seen as normal in those spaces - infantilization, feminization, commodification of an artist to the point where they become a product - due to the nature of HOW Michael was always treated.
Im going to start assuming that all these weirdos are also lowkey racist, you see a gentle, sweet, shy black man and immediately feel the need to call him a she. Why? Why is that, and yall only do this with his post-vitiligo eras, Why? pre-vitiligo not "wifey" enough for u???
Why are y’all acting like Michael Jackson wasn’t a real person? Misgendering him, mocking him, and calling yourselves fans doesn’t add up.
You can be a new fan, but you can’t hate on him while claiming to support him. He was a human being. show respect lmao
