BREAKING: Star Democratic Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez obliterates creepy vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance for falsely claiming that Democrats are "anti-family."
This is how it's done...
"If Vance is so fixated on who has kids, he must support pro-family policies, right?" Ocasio-Cortez posted on X.
"Like a living wage? Parental leave? Child Tax Credit? Affordable housing? Guaranteed healthcare? Universal childcare?" she continued.
"Oh right, he doesn’t. He just wants an excuse to surveil & subjugate women," she concluded.
AOC's remarks were in response to a J.D. Vance interview with CNN's Dana Bash. In it, Vance defended his deranged attacks on Kamala Harris for having stepchildren and Pete Buttigieg for adopting children.
Vance's bizarre opinions on families, particularly his infamous "childless cat lady" comments, have become a major problem for the Trump campaign. Americans recognize Vance for the fascist freak he is — and they're rejecting him in droves.
Please retweet and ❤️ if you think that J.D. Vance was a historically awful VP pick — and consider joining the growing exodus to Tribel, a new pro-democracy social network that is exploding in popularity because Twitter and Facebook are trying to stop its growth — which is only making Tribel grow even faster. Last night's interview was a DISASTER for trump.
His mindless denizens will, of course, attempt to spin it as the best performance in the history of performances, but it was BAD.
Like "car wreck" bad.
Like "I couldn't look away" bad.
Firstly, if the goal was to demonstrate how brave trump is for doing an interview, that was a major fail. A sleeping kitten would have been more perilous.
In fact, perhaps only sycophantic Sean Hannity could have done a better job at protecting trump's fragile ego as thoroughly.
No tough questions were asked, not one.
A whole lot of head-nodding agreement.
No challenge to any of his crazy ramblings.
Secondly, a big part of trump's "mystique" is his he-man, macho vibe. But his interviewer treated trump like he was handling a 90-year-old dementia patient in his final days, careful not to upset him or make him the least bit uncomfortable.
There was no fact checking, whatever trump told his interviewer was taken as unquestioned gospel. He wrongly stated the US education system was at the bottom of global rankings (it's 13 out of 177), and then he said he wanted to end the Dept of Education.
The content of this boring show was full of wistful longings about the preferred candidate that he no longer gets to face, President Biden. He bragged repeatedly about how he showered Biden with a firehose of unchecked lies, bragging almost as much as he did about person, woman, man, camera, TV.
He went out of his way to call President Biden and VP Harris "stupid" and other childish utterings you'd NEVER hear Biden or Harris say, confirming for many of us that we should NOT let up on calling that motherfucker "weird."
By contrast, Joe Biden was confronted head-on with tough questions by both George Stephanopoulos and Lester Holt. No free passes, they PRESSED him.
REMINDER: The last tough questions trump got was at the NABJ, where he unraveled and complained about being confronted with his own words, how rude!
Lastly, the unmistakable sound of trump's loose dentures swimming around his big mouth was extremely distracting and off-putting. It definitely made his overall look and sound even MORE pathetic, an impotent, lisping shell of what he once was.
If you caught a picture or video clip of him from the event, he looked even more like someone's sad, weird, old grandpa trying to figure out tech, wondering where his life has gone.
The failure to even launch his event on time should serve as a perfect metaphor for the failures of his administration the first time around to do anything except cut taxes for the wealthy.
How did the Harris-Walz campaign put it? "self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who cannot run a livestream in the year 2024. Oof, that's gonna leave a mark.
And oh, they are trying to say ONE BILLION people listened to that catastrophe? Luckily for trump, it's as fake as his 6'3" and 215 lb statistics.
The one billion applies to views -- whether or not someone actually listens or just scrolls past, as long as it enters your screen, it counts as a view. All smoke and mirrors.
But if even HALF of that number of people heard that softball "interview," their only takeaway would be that trump is weak, as weak as a grown man can be.
Weak and scared. His dark, dystopian view differs drastically from Kamala Harris' vision for the future, the sunny optimism of improving America through hard work, hope and freedom.
We are NOT going back.
YES.
She started with a BANG!
"We so appreciate you giving us an hour of your time, I want to start by addressing the elephant in the room, sir. A lot of people did not think it was appropriate for you to be here today. You have pushed false claims about some of your Rivals from Nikki Haley to former president Barack Obama, saying that they were not born in the United States, which is not true. You have told 4 congresswoman of color who were American citizens to go back to where they came from. You have used words like animal and rabid to describe black District Attorneys. You've attacked black journalists calling them a loser saying the questions that they ask are quote stupid and racist. You've had dinner with a white supremacist at your Mar-A-Lago Resort. So my question sir, now that you are asking black supporters to vote for you, why should black voters trust you after you've used language like that?"
Predictions for 2024:
- A few days or weeks before the election a false story will begin to spread on social media allegedly implicating Kamala Harris of terrible things. It will be based on“hacked material”.
- Elon Musk will reshare it to 160 million people with a simple “!”
- Conservatives will cheer.
- Harris will still win and MAGA will once again claim the election was rigged without any evidence.
- Harris will certify the election for her victory and MAGA will claim that the process is unfair.
- Harris will become the 47th president despite a whole slew of lies being propagated by the usual suspects on social media.
