Finally happy with this Box parterre renovation project.

It had been ravaged by Box Tree Caterpillar and has taken considerable work to get it back to its best.

For those who are battling with Box blight and the dreaded Caterpillar, there is hope, it can be done.

Animals were flown out on a commercial aircraft. Can’t fly people (live ones anyway), in the cargo hold on a commercial aircraft.

Check the cable first and then move onto the blade brake assembly. Could be a build up of crud - give it a good clean. If that doesn’t work check the spring and it bearings.

@jackwallington Yes, but only by removing all the established plants and washing the soil off and then replanting. It’s a painstaking process but successful. Obviously bed needs weeding before reintroduction of plants.

It can be cut out and treated but it’s very difficult with a small tree.
