Vice President Sara Duterte delivered a scathing critique of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and key officials in his administration, accusing them of incompetence and corruption.

"This country is going to hell because we are led by a person who doesn't know how to be a president and who is a liar," Duterte stated in an online press conference early Saturday, November 23, questioning the feasibility of Marcos' campaign promise of ₱20 per kilo of rice. She recounted conversations with rice traders who dismissed the promise as "impossible," alleging that it was either a display of ignorance or deliberate deceit to win votes.

Duterte also claimed that First Lady Liza Marcos, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, and others interfered with funds intended for the Department of Education (DepEd), adding that her office followed written instructions from the First Lady to remit funds to DepEd. She dismissed allegations of misuse, asserting, "Ni wala nga kayong isang proof na confidential funds 'yan."

The Vice President accused Romualdez of using public funds for personal gain and circumventing legislative functions. "Anong ginagawa ni Martin Romualdez? Nagdi-direct, nag-DSWD, nagbibigay ng ayuda... Sino ba ang presidente dito?" she asked.

In an explosive remark, Duterte revealed she had prepared for potential threats to her life, saying she instructed a trusted individual to retaliate if she were killed. "Kapag pinatay ako, patayin mo si BBM, si Liza Araneta, at si Martin Romualdez. No joke," she declared.

The tirade also included accusations of bribery within the House of Representatives and mishandling of DepEd funds, citing billions in misallocated projects allegedly initiated by lawmakers.

Duterte, who has faced ongoing scrutiny over the use of confidential funds, emphasized that the attacks against her and her office were politically motivated, adding that she has "nothing to lose."

Dear President @bongbongmarcos,

I sincerely think it is time to replace Usec. Ronald Cardema as the National Youth Commission Chief and I humbly ask you to please consider.

For the sake of the Filipino Youth!

I know for a fact that the National Youth Commission is close to your heart, having been one of the principal authors of the legislation creating the said commission. I can say for a fact that Usec. Ronald Cardema is the wrong fit for such an important job.

Instead of advocating for the youth and being their voice, the National Youth Commission Chair chose to focus on his own battles instead -the rare occasions we hear from him are either 1.) In defense of any of the Dutertes 2.) Against his political rivals 3.) or the pivot of the commission into what it seems like  an extension of the military.

I cannot forget the Senate committee hearing for the mandatory ROTC. Instead of making sure the youth representatives invited will be heard, the National Youth Commission Chief joined the military in dismissing what the youth had to say. Increase/ improve youth participation is one of the core principles of the commission he’s representing.

As a supporter of the Marcos administration, I am not comfortable that a hardcore Duterte loyalist would hold such an important position with project partnerships with our military. Ay no! No!

His presence in the Maisug rally calling for your ouster is also a declaration that his loyalty is not of his office but the Dutertes.

I can cite a long list of other reasons if necessary.
