Violent shoving, national discrimination, that was what smtr fans experienced in Bangkok.
During the Graduation Trip in Bankok,we fans have suffered numerous instances of unfair treatment, including but not limited to national discrimination and violent shoving.
Firstly, although the fans who gathered to see the artists off at the airport yesterday were mainly Chinese, there were also Korean and Thai fans present. A Suvarnabhumi Airport security guard mockingly asked, Should I really have to speak Chinese? Do you want me to speak Chinese?" (This is a direct quote). Is this not, in some sense, a clear form of discrimination? As to how the Suvarnabhumi security personnel knew the composition of SMTR fans in advance, I believe SM Entertainment needs to clarify exactly what was communicated to them.
Secondly, throughout the entire send-off process, the instances of violent enforcement were too numerous to count. If there are too many fans, proper guidance would be fmore effective than violent shoving. Fans are human beings, not garbage. We should not be tossed around and slammed against the walls.
The most rediculous thing occurred when the artists were taking the escalator down. There's no other way so we fans had to take the stairs. While a guard at the bottom blocked the exit, another guard at the top forcefully shoved me down the stairs. If the guard in front hadn’t blocked me with his elbow, I would have fallen straight down the flight of stairs. Is such violence, which shows a complete disregard for human life, truly necessary? The primary duty of airport security is to maintain order, yet yesterday’s security only turned the airport into absolute chaos. My UV filter on my camera lens was completely shattered into pieces during the chaos, how funny it was.
As the final stop of the Graduation Trip, fans arrived with high expectations, hoping to leave with beautiful, happy memories. Yet, from the very beginning, we were met with incessant issues—staff brutality, physical beating, and racial discrimination. If your company believes that fans deserve to be treated this way, we can only express our profound disappointment and heartbreak.
I think all of the fans who attended the fanmeeting in Bangkok deserve a formal response from your company.@SMTR25_official@SMTOWNGLOBAL #SMTR25 #SMTR25_FM_TOUR_Graduation
