Being admitted as an in-patient on a neuro ward for the next week to check my seizures out on EEG monitors. I’m so nervous, normally my admissions are scary and last minute but this time I’ve planned and packed ahead 🥲💪🏼📚
So @Beyonce used the word 'spaz' in her new song Heated. Feels like a slap in the face to me, the disabled community & the progress we tried to make with Lizzo. Guess I'll just keep telling the whole industry to 'do better' until ableist slurs disappear from music 💔
1/2 Today was my last day working with my amazing team; I’ve made the hardest decision ever to prioritise my kidneys and overall health and to look after myself for a while… I’ve never been so emotional😢 this is not goodbye
2/2 forever grateful to everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with in my first job, I’ve met so many amazing young people, their parents, support staff and of course professionals. Thank you all ❤️
We are seeing the highest % of AHP's leaving the NHS since 2014... with a peak in the first 0-2 years after starting.
What simple things can we put into place now to work to reduce this? #AHP#preceptorship#foundation#support
So my family where watching the new Harvey Price documentary and screamed “Imogen look”. I dropped my garlic bread and ran in to see that Speech and Language therapists are being represented so beautifully on tv!
I’m watching from the beginning now 👏🏼🐸
The #BSLBill passed it's second reading unopposed! @NDCS_UK CEO, Susan says, "This is an historic day for British Sign Language users everywhere. With their language now well on the way to being recognised in law, they can feel jubilant, valued and optimistic about the future."
Rosie Cooper MP @rosie4westlancs summarised and not a single word of opposition to the Bill in this debate.
No vote - unopposed.
BSL BILL PASSED!! 👏🙌😃🥳

After a week isolating with my Mam after she tested positive for COVID, today me and my brother have tested positive on PCR’s too! Here’s to another 10 days isolating- and thank you @AmbitiousAutism for a useful social story for my brother🥺
@Clgslt Proud of my northern accent and wish I was at uni when I used to try and sound more southern, with hopes that others might understand me more and take me seriously (my university was 5hrs south)
