The Imole Boys Movement (IBM) is a youth-driven political movement committed to supporting the consolidation of a people-centered governance in Osun State.
This is beyond the rhythm of the song and the melody behind the lyrics, it is about our pain, our unwanted reality.
Who would have thought that classrooms will no longer be safe? Who would have thought that vulnerable children would be turned to puns in the hands of the people we elected?
Election is around the corner, and they’re making promises again, innocent children are in the loins of daredevils, yet, it’s business as usual for them… who do we call?
Dear people in government, pick up the call. You know what to do, we’re begging you. Do it. Bring back the kids and their teachers… Edakun 🙏🏾
Governor Adeleke didn’t stumble into leadership. His record of service, compassion, and commitment to the people predates his governorship. From his years in public office, including his time in the Senate, his contributions have been traceable, verifiable, and people-centered. Today, that depth of experience is driving visible progress across Osun.
Unlike AMBO, whose public service records often raise more questions than answers, Adeleke’s trajectory is marked by consistent results and accountability. Time and again, he has shown reliability in public responsibility across different levels of service. The progress is visible, the direction is clear, and the mandate remains to protect and sustain it.

GOVERNOR ADELEKE COMMISSIONS RENOVATED LAWN TENNIS COURTS IN LAGOS; HONOURS LATE SENATOR ISIAKA ADELEKE
LAGOS— 14/05/2026 — https://t.co/fRzeiXKpdK
The Executive Governor of Osun State, His Excellency Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, on Wednesday commissioned the newly renovated Lawn Tennis Courts at the Lagos State Public Service Club (LSPSC) in Ikeja.
The comprehensive renovation of the sports facility was sponsored and commissioned by Governor Adeleke in honour of his late brother and the first Executive Governor of Osun State, Late Alhaji Senator Isiaka Adetunji Adeleke (popularly known as "Serubawon"), who was a prominent member of the club.
During his keynote address at the ceremony, Governor Adeleke emphasized the importance of sports development and infrastructure. He specifically urged the management of the Lawn Tennis Section to prioritize the maintenance of the courts to ensure the facility retains its beauty and serves its purpose for years to come.
Speaking at the event, the President of the Lagos State Public Service Club, Com Olukayode Odunuga described Governor Adeleke as a "promise keeper." He recalled that during a visit to the club last year, the Governor had pledged to reconstruct the tennis section; a promise that has now been fulfilled with the delivery of the modern courts.
In a gesture of appreciation, the Club President, alongside other Executives, presented the Governor with a special birthday card signed by all members of the club to commemorate his recent birthday.
The event was well-attended by top government officials and dignitaries, including the Head of Service of Lagos State.

Governor Adeleke Lists Achievements in Mining Sector, Slams Osun APC's Mining Records
OSOGBO - 13/05/2026 - https://t.co/fRzeiXKpdK
Governor Ademola Adeleke has listed several achievements of his administration under the mining sector from 2022 to date, clarifying that his government did not sell any mining licence but consolidating and expanding state assets in the sector.
In a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the governor on Mining and Mineral Matters, Prof. Lukuman Adekilekun JIMODA, and issued in response to allegations that the state government has sold some mining licences, the governor slammed the Osun APC for neglecting the sector while in power, identifying some of the strategies implemented to jumpstart the sector after years of neglect.
“When the governor assumed office in 2022, he set up a Solid Mineral Committee to comprehensively study the state of mineral resources in Osun State. The findings of the committee included the shocking discovery that all our inherited licences are loaded with accumulated service charges which the last Government did not pay at all.
“The report noted that the last government could not account for revenue as floated by a company, Hoffman and Danger, where all the miners in the state were reporting to. No single payment was paid into the State Government purse.
“The functionaries of the last Government actually knew that August 9th, 2023 was the expiry date, yet, they did not pay service charges nor made any preparation for conversion from exploration leases to Mining leases.
“They abandoned our assets with Segilola Resources Operating Limited with billions of naira of assets, dividends and taxes. They denied the state of huge returns.
“The administration revived and expanded the mining sector by stopping imminent loss of inherited mining licence due to non-payment of renewal fees by the Oyetola administration”, he noted.
“Mr Governor did not sell a single Cadastral Unit in the asset inherited from the last Government. He is fully working towards converting all the eight (8) joint ventures inherited from the Oyetola Government.
Speaking further on the progress recorded in the mining sector, the Special Adviser said the mining sector achieved a lot such as securing the shareholding from Segilola Resources Operation Limited worth around Seven Billion Naira while dividends worth 64,000 Canadian Dollars are being paid by Thor Exploration Limited every three (3) months from January, 2025 till date.
“We have also collected taxes worth N1.7 Billion as against less than N50 Million collected during the tenure of the last administration. Our Internally Generated Revenue from Alluvial Mining, Artisanal Mining and others have improved tremendously.
“The IGR we generated in April 2023 (one month) is more than the IGR generated in one year (2022) by former governor Oyetola. Governor Adeleke did not sell a single licence. The current mining sector under him is characterized with an increased IGR, environmental friendly operation and excellent capacity building.
“The Governor paid all the accumulated service charges around April/ May, 2023 and the State Government has been paying continuously. The Government immediately commenced processes for applying for conversion of all Exploration Leases to Mining Leases. We did Environmental Auditing by NESREA as a condition for applying for conversion of Exploration Leases to Mining Leases.

Happy 66th birthday to Governor Ademola Adeleke @AAdeleke_01. Under your exemplary and visionary leadership, Osun is moving from years of stagnation to real progress; from scarcity to surplus, and from condemnation to commendation.
Far and beyond, the impact of good governance being delivered under your administration has placed Osun at the very top of national recognition.
Your leadership has brought Osun to enviable heights in healthcare delivery, attested to by back-to-back national awards with prize money of $1m; moved Osun from 36th position in National Examination rankings (2022) to 7th position for consecutive years (2024 & 2025); reduced inherited debt by over 40% while increasing Osun IGR by over 120% in just three years.
Your infrastructure drive has transformed not only the urban communities but also the rural areas, with over 300KM of internal roads delivered, massive road dualization in Osogbo, Ilesha, Ile-Ife, Iwo, Ido Osun, Ila, Ede, etc., including state of the art flyovers in Oke Fia, Osogbo; Lameco, Osogbo; and Lagere, Ile-Ife.
Under your administration, Osun has moved from subsistence farming to fully mechanized farming with the procurement of modern tractors and farm equipment, distribution of special seedlings, and provision of financial support to farmers of different categories.
The youth have benefitted greatly from your deliberate attention and efforts in revitalizing the digital and technology sector. By domesticating the Nigeria Startup Act, setting up the Osun ICT policy, and constituting the Osun Tech Advisory Council consisting of tech professionals and entrepreneurs across Nigeria and beyond, you have laid the solid foundation required to advance the digital economy of Osun.
Your Excellency, at 66, you have given so much to Osun State and you still have a lot to give. The Imole you have brought to our dear state must continue to shine. On this day, I pray to God to continue to grant you good health and sound mind to continue delivering impactful governance to the good people of Osun. This journey is not stopping now, and it must continue for another term. The consensus among Osun people is that this Imole must shine till 2030 and beyond!
Once again, happy birthday, sir!
