He once topped his class. Sat on the front bench. Dreamed like any other child.
But in Class 4, Indrans had to stop going to school, not because he wanted to, but because his family couldn’t afford a uniform or books. Growing up as one of seven children, education quietly slipped away.
Life moved on. He entered cinema, spent decades being typecast, and slowly carved his place until, 40 years later, he stood tall with a National Award to his name.
And then, at 68, he went back.
In 2024, after the national recognition, he appeared for Class 7 equivalency exams, taking one small but powerful step towards a dream he was forced to abandon as a child.
Not all journeys are linear.
Some pause. Some break.
And some quietly begin again.
A story that reminds you—it’s never too late to return to what once meant everything.

@sayantansunnyg I so agree. The first time I started watching it was late night and with headphone on and alone in a house... the effect stayed with me for quite a long time . And also the bgms...

@sayantansunnyg For fact checking, I went to the nearby icecream factory from my school when I was 7 and told my mother it was not drain water. She slapped me (of course) but couldn't give that drain water logic anymore. I think she slapped me because she again had to work on a new logic 😂
Between a rock and a hard place
there's always a sliver of hope,
that says you needn't know
how to walk on water,
to get by.
So long as you hear the song of
the sea, even from far away, and go towards it, without fear, so you can
see how the tides have long
been singing for you.
My heartfelt condolences to the Server Admin Team for all the three platforms. Can feel your pain guys. Keep calm and do your job. You also have life and people also needs to go and get some life #facebookdown#WhatsAppDown#instagramdown
Thank you #Chandril for writing the love songs of our teenage.
Thank you for sharing @sayantansunnyg . Let's continue . This is El Ateneo Grand Splendid in Buenos Aires. Everytime I have visited this place I couldn't believe my eyes. Pre-covid era this used to operate between from 8 am to 12 am except Sunday (12 pm to 8 pm). I miss this now
If and when this ends, all I want to do is go to some of the bookstores around the world which I've always wanted to visit but didn't manage to yet. So naturally thinking about the one dream bookshop that I actually got to visit in 2019 — the iconic Libreria Acqua Alta in Venice.
