[Live2D Tips] #5
Have you ever encountered the issue where, due to having too many vertices during transformation, it becomes difficult to properly see how the deformation actually looks?
This feature is one of my favorites in Cubism (shared by one of my Live2D teachers).
By using it, you can toggle it on and off, allowing you to clearly check whether the transformations you make look good.
However, please note that since you cannot see the vertices or warp deformers while it is enabled, you might accidentally make the structure very messy (which is not recommended). I suggest assigning it to a shortcut key so you can rapidly toggle it on and off during rigging.
I personally bought a very cheap programmable mini keyboard and assigned all my frequently used shortcuts to it.
Off topic:
It's already the end of June—time really flies. I hope everyone is doing well.
I've been super busy with rigging throughout the entire month, but I'm finally getting closer to the finish line. Hopefully, I can complete a high-quality model and share some of its interesting features sometime in late August.
I made a Live2D study file including:
-Basic mouth forms
-VBridger
-Reactive forms
-Mouth physics
-A vowel ref
All earnings will go towards my jaw surgery!
