I met David through an ex-boyfriend, though we quickly discovered lots of mutual friends and interests. I'd long since accepted it was unlikely we'd see each other again; knowing it to be so, and in these circumstances, is really something, huh.

At David's 30th he had three tiers of cheese instead of a cake. When he was told there were 5 minutes left of karaoke he led the whole party in a rendition of Do You Hear The People Sing. They then told him there was time for one more song. "Shall we just do that again?"
