माननीय राज्यपाल लेफ्टिनेंट जनरल सय्यद अता हसनैन (सेवानिवृत्त) ने पटना में आयोजित ‘टीबी मुक्त बिहार राज्य स्तरीय कार्यक्रम’ में भाग लिया तथा टीबी मुक्त बिहार अभियान को जनान्दोलन का स्वरूप देने का आह्वान किया। उन्होंने कहा कि टीबी मुक्त बिहार के लक्ष्य की प्राप्ति के लिए व्यापक जन-जागरूकता, सामुदायिक सहभागिता, प्रभावी संचार तथा सभी हितधारकों के समन्वित प्रयास आवश्यक हैं। राज्यपाल ने निक्षय मित्र पहल की सराहना करते हुए टीबी रोगियों के सहयोग एवं पोषण सहायता के लिए अधिकाधिक जनभागीदारी की आवश्यकता पर भी जोर दिया।

मा. राज्यपाल ने कहा कि टीबी उन्मूलन केवल स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र का विषय नहीं, बल्कि सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी का अभियान है। वहीं मा. स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री निशांत ने कहा कि सुदृढ़ जांच, बेहतर उपचार व्यवस्था और जनसहभागिता के बल पर बिहार टीबी मुक्त राज्य बनने की दिशा में तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहा है।
