It’s hard to believe this weekend is the last tournament for this group.

For some of these girls, this team has been home for the last 6 years. They’ve been here through the wins, the tough losses, long talks, 4 hour long practices, road trips, and everything in between. They’ve truly been the foundation of what we’ve built.

While they are so skilled and talented, we won’t remember anything softball related. We will remember the people they’ve become. They’ve challenged each other, supported each other, picked each other up, and made everyone around them better. The impact they’ve had on this program, their teammates, their coaches, and the younger girls watching them is something that can’t be measured.

It’s bittersweet. None of us are really ready to see this chapter end, but we’re so proud of the young women they’re becoming. Watching them move on to play college softball is exactly what we’ve worked toward, and we can’t wait to cheer them on from the stands instead of the dugout.

Thank you for trusting us, for believing in each other, and for giving this program everything you had. You girls will always be a part of this family and what you’ve left behind will continue long after this weekend.

During my lesson with @jennamccauleyyy tonight, we worked through some mental bumps that have I have been struggling with in pitching recently. New routine between each pitch and working on spots with my fastball! Also, SCHEDULE DROP ‼️for the last tournament with our seniors!😢

USA Nationals tested this team in ways that had nothing to do with softball. 🧠

Rain delays, constant schedule changes, and 48+ hours spent in a hotel before our first game made this tournament as much a mental challenge as a physical one. Every team had to deal with the same circumstances - the difference was in how you adapted. ⛈️

Despite the chaos, we finished Top 5 in the 18U division, with our only loss coming from the tournament champions. 🏆

The game has a way of exposing where you’re strong and where you still have work to do.

Nationals gave us both. Back to work. 💪🏼🙌🏼
