@ChanclaDirty@Chief_Hahn We are so thankful for Chief Hahn teaching history and representing what being the change you want to see means. Knowing how law enforcement began with the U.S. Marshals serving as slave catchers and progressed to protecting Ruby Bridges right to attend school shows progress.
Archy Lee was an African-American born into slavery in Mississippi in 1840.
Lee's slave-owner, Charles Stovall, brought Lee with him to Sacramento, California on October 2, 1857. While in Sacramento, Stovall rented out Lee for his wages. #Blackhistorymonth2022#BeTheDifference
@Chief_Hahn. Our youth made this video for you. Thank you for the love and support you give to young people. Including youth perspective in decisions that affect them not only builds trust, it builds community. Law Enforcement Appreciation
