c)Nonce: In order to get the hash of block nonce is required. So miner just does this, trying different value of nonce until hash is below target value.

b) Hash of previous block:
Block hash = H(Merkle root + prev block hash + nonce)
So changing anything in one block will change the hash of that block and as result will change the hash of every successive block.

In simple term proof of work makes voting expensive by casting it to computational power. Voter has to solve some unpredictable computational problem that definately requires doing some considerable amount of work.

But what if someone creates multiple identity and becomes the majority. This way double attack is possible. There's where Nakamotto's revolutionary proof of work consensus comes. Instead of cast voting by identities proof of work suggest casting of voting by resources.
