"Because “you are enough” does not mean that you have been measured and considered and judged, and that you have finally earned the label of “enough.”
It doesn’t mean that you’ve worked long enough, tried hard enough, presented well enough. It’s simply who you are."

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"I like this quote. We will face many defeats in life. It is one of the reasons for living our life. We are meant to face challenges. And to learn from them.
I think the first way in not allowing ourselves to be defeated is by recognizing challenges will occur."

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"Enthusiasm is one of the most powerful engines of success. When you do a thing, do it with all your might. Put your whole soul into it. Stamp it with your own personality. Be active, be energetic, be enthusiastic and faithful, and you will accomplish your object."

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"There are times when despite trying all the attempts and all possible ways, you are just completely helpless and the situation doesn’t change, and you feel that it’s a catch 22 situation which is basically a cross to bear ( seems to be a miserable state)"

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"Positivity means thinking in an optimistic way, looking for solutions, expecting good results and success, and focusing and making life happier. It is a happy and worry-free state of mind, which looks at the bright side of life.
Positivity means a positive frame of mind."

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"Patience means "ability to wait, or to continue doing something despite difficulties, or to suffer without complaining or becoming annoyed".

"A sophisticated person can be the one who has, displays and lives out a fair amount of worldly experience and knowledge of fashion and culture. The person can talk and form judgements with a clear line of thought."

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"It’s interesting to think that you can start anew with each passing moment. You can let go of the past, let go of whatever is holding you back, and start again, doing whatever it is you want to do. It’s refreshing to know that the present is not entirely enmeshed in the past."

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"Even a mistake may turn out to be the one thing necessary to a worthwhile achievement. There are no dead ends. There is always a way out."

"There’s no need to be concerned that you’ll just be another person in the world, you can be remarkable and really shine brightly! I love that. I find it so encouraging and inspiring! It seems that it can be applied to most every area of your life."

"You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from, how you can still come out of it.”

"This quote reminds me that everyone has something of value to add to the conversation. We each come to be who we are based on our background, experiences, and choices. No two people are the same. This reinforces to me to embrace uniqueness. It is ok that no one else is like you"

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"Walk Proud essentially means "hold yourself straight, be proud, head up, no slumping of shoulders and be assertive" ... Be proud of who you are ..."

"Education is a powerful tool by which economically and socially marginalized adults and children can lift up out of poverty and participate fully as citizens. I love this right as a child because it gives me a lot of access to unlock many big places which can change my life."

[Patrick Dailey @impatrickdailey]

"That’s how you get inspiration to find you working. You keep working at your craft until it finds you. You work and work and work. That’s why they keep finding paintings hiding under other paintings. Cover up your last attempt and practice again."

"I guess “Better to be lucky than good “means “to be gifted with good fortune is better than being simply good (at what remains as a question though),” but I’m not sure of its exact meaning."

"Few things in life are more trapping than the feeling of having things you want — no, need — to say to your boss, your friend, your significant other, your co-worker, your roommate, your neighbor and yet, the words just won’t come out."
