Voting is an honor and a privilege. The next few days will be long. Vote. Stay safe. Stay alert. As @Luvvie said: Hold the light. Hold the truth. Stay grounded. Breathe ya'll. Cultivate stillness. If you need to talk reach out. We got this. โค๏ธ

You're not "making being queer your whole personality." You're just being openly and unapologetically queer, which makes people who want you to hide, minimize, or be ashamed of your queerness very uncomfortable.
I agree. If you have no idea about the AIDS quilt, Ryan White, Matthew Shepard, Pedro from the Real World, the hanky code, the shoelace code, lavender marriage, or know victims of Reparative Therapy? Exit this conversation and do some homework. Now.

If you donโt know what โfriend of Dorothyโ means do not come into my mentions talking about queer history. I am done with infants trying to LGBTQsplain to folks who were fighting for gay and trans rights while you were still just a glimmer in daddyโs eye. Finish your homework.

RIP ๐๏ธ HIV/AIDS activist Hydeia Broadbent. Never forget seeing her on the Oprah show that day talking bout it. Doctors said she wouldnโt make it beyond 5yrs old.
Rest with the angels ๐ผ๐พ
