Just migrated Bifrost’s frontend from Next.js to React with a fresh tooling stack.

We initially chose Next.js because it powers Maxim’s web app and works great there, but for Bifrost we weren’t really using its backend features, so a full-stack framework felt unnecessary.

While evaluating the shift, the numbers made the decision clear. The React + Vite setup delivered much better performance for this use case.
