A rare large-scale Russian armored assault took place in the Azov Corps sector near Shakhove on July 22, involving forces from Russia’s 8th and 41st Armies and the 90th Tank Division.

After four hours of fighting, the attack was crushed. Ukrainian forces destroyed 7 tanks, 6 armored vehicles, a Tornado-S launcher, a Grad launcher, 3 engineering vehicles and 47 light vehicles, while killing 123 Russian troops and wounding 29 more.
