In a first, Judge Rajani Ranga of Rohini Court pens a special message to the child survivor while convicting the perpetrator:
“Beta when u said ‘jab tak uncle buddhe na ho jaaye, tab tak unhe jail mein hi rakha jaye’. This Court listened. And this Court has answered your plea.
Today this a court has ordered that the man you called ‘uncle’ will never walk free again. He will live in a cage for the rest of his life. He will grow old in that cage. He will die in that cage. He will never be able to hurt you , or your little sister or any other child ever again.
You are the bravest little girl this Court has ever seen. You came to Court, you pointed at the man who hurt you and you told the truth. The man you called ‘uncle’ did a very bad thing to you. But you did not stay quiet. You told your mother. And because you had the courage to speak, he will never be able to hurt another child again.
This Court cannot give you back your childhood. But the Court can promise you that your words have been heard.
Now beta, live your life. Go to school. Make friends. Laugh. Play. Dream. This Court will always remember your Courage.”
#WATCH | Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh: RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosabale says, "... If society is to unite, we must forget our internal discrimination. I belong to this caste, this sect, this language, this province; I belong to North India, I belong to South India, and therefore I am different. This discrimination separates us from each other. If we do not maintain the nature of our organisation, we will lose our strength. When we work together, any task can be accomplished. Every finger has power, but when all four fingers come together, the thumb is on top of it. In this fist, the power of each finger is gathered together, and the strength that comes together within the fist is the power of organization. The Sangh's branch is dedicated to these two things: building character within the individual and awakening this spirit of organization within society, thus uniting the entire society. By doing this, we can move forward in every area of our national life. Therefore, this work must be done selflessly, with authenticity, and with all our heart and soul..."

Overall huge improvement from last year by @OfficialGMDA and @MunCorpGurugram !
If we move up at this pace, Gurugram can change in less than 5 years. But we need stronger structures which consistently perform. Outperform. @cmohry
So #Gurugram has had its first major rain bout over 100 mm rain in two days spread over a few hours. It’s safe to say the @MunCorpGurugram and @OfficialGMDA performed their best in last 5 years this pre monsoon creek kept SPR water logging free saving sectors 1 to 80 safe . @pcmeenaIAS @PradeepIAS_HR

Media continues to support cause of Citizens asking for basic liveability - roads and footpaths that are safe and last mile connectivity to public transport. It's time to think of cities in a holistic manner and not piecemeal. When we create alternatives, people shift behaviours too. Killing cities with pollution is no longer viable. #PoorAirAffectsAll.
