What the Baeksang Arts Awards couldn’t do, female director July Jung did!!
A tribute to Kim Sae Ron finally happened on a bigger stage — Cannes Film Festival 👏👏👏
During the ending credits of Dora, Kim Sae Ron’s name appeared in a special thanks message from the production company and director. The tribute was especially meaningful because she previously worked with July Jung on the 2014 film A Girl at My Door.
While discussing the film’s theme, director July Jung said she wanted to tell a story about generations rather than simply men or women. She shared that she hopes younger generations can survive, heal, and recover, adding that she still believes hope lies with them.
She also spoke emotionally about Kim Sae Ron, calling her an incredibly important actress to both her and the production company. July Jung said losing her was deeply painful and heartbreaking for the film industry and society as a whole.
@titagalletitaa@Valitgirl_ Well I was talking about the fact that around 30 dates in the states give them more money than 4 or 5 dates in latam (quantity over quality) and that's something that jype will prefer, but I get your point.
Es cansado realmente que LATAM tenga la obligación de mostrar su valía, su mérito de que lleguen artistas a tomar en cuenta nuestros países. Este desdén está tan arraigado por el norte global
it needs to be studied why the majority of kpop totally ignores LatAm on their world tours. makes me so sad for the fans who really want to experience their faves.
Half of the fanbases and their admins are from Latam
We got Stationheads managed by Latam to keep it running 24 hours
The previous tour got SOLD OUT STADIUMS in Latam
Ou streaming teams are led by a ton of people from Latam
Div. 3 needs to burn
@JYPETWICE@JYPETWICE_JAPAN 🖕
and when i see all these fuck ass gringos celebrating the next comeback, meaning they didn't actually want the girls to rest, but they were just nitpicking at latam onces for being rightfully disappointed about being left out ONCE AGAIN
not coming to latam this tour is really sad. and i hope i don't see anyone saying we don't have the right to complain cuz they only did 5 concerts in latam in their whole career.
jyp really gives twice so many dates in the US while ignoring latam a continent where mexico, brazil, chile, colombia and argentina can give them attendance records
