As you already know, ""Cancer rates are rising in adults under 55, and new research suggests accelerated biological aging may be one piece of the puzzle.
Scientists found that people from more recent generations tended to have bodies that appeared biologically older than those of earlier generations at the same chronological age.
Greater biological age acceleration was linked to a higher risk of early onset cancers, with specific patterns seen for lung, gastrointestinal, uterine and colorectal cancers."
Living with COVID is to accept aging with cancer.
'Cancer is rising in younger adults. Faster biological aging may help explain why'

in an older-time America it was common for three generations to live together, often in large farmhouses. or just in farmhouses. (as my family did.) in fact so common, in rural areas it seemed odd for a young couple to be living alone in their own house. if you get alone well with parents & grandparents, it can actually be quite wonderful.
but I understand, it's the economic situation that accounts for these arrangements more than affection or tradition
It's very heartening to see our community come together with #oneofthetwo and a good time to talk about keeping Long COVID highly visible, actively engaged, and getting seen by more people on X.
Let's make an intentional plan for 2026, friends:

Excellent new paper by Tim Henrich et al on the bacterial, fungal, and viral infections & reactivations associated with #LongCovid.
"Various viral, bacterial, and fungal co-infections may induce or facilitate the development of PASC."

COVID causes brain damage, especially to the frontal lobe.
There's a documented rise in reckless behaviors.
Similar to impulsive/childish behavior after other kinds of brain injury like concussions

When we look at the brain after COVID, we need to accept something that still hasn’t fully landed in public understanding - changes in cerebral perfusion aren’t limited to people with Long COVID. They show up in almost everyone.
And this new study makes that point clear🧵
ENVELOPE PROTEIN and LONG COVID
For more than three years, we have been emphasizing that the envelope protein is an essential component and that we cannot limit our focus to just the spike protein. We are now uncovering its role in long COVID.
