Preaching equality among unequals is the worst form of discrimination. A child trekking the hills of Manipur to go to school and a child with educated parents living in a big city are not equal.

Any first-generation learner has to undergo a lot of struggle. You can't expect a child from a village studying in a vernacular medium school to compete with a child studying the top English Medium school in town, with access to a lot of information and knowledge within and outside family.

In this discussion @PChidambaram_IN gives an example of his son @KartiPC who was the son of a educated parents, in comparison with his milkman's son how unprivileged that child was. Listen to him if you genuinely want to understand. (2/4)

I had to pass through immigration checks multiple times in the past 2 weeks. The average wait times were as follows:

- Chennai: less than 2 mins
- Colombo: less than 5 mins
- London: 1 hour 20 mins (lucky me... it was a moving queue)
