@brettpn It was an emotional press conference. He got attached to BB (4 yrs), John Abraham (3 yrs), Carter McCulley (3 yrs) and Cal Fisher (3 yrs) and guys he brought in after that build a talented and added to them with Estes, Bailey, Cairns, Cmeyla and DeLamelleura last year.
@ACBFSU3@FSUBaseball BB wanted to focus on being a pitcher. As a team captain , he knew he could help the team when Myles went down by returning to being a hitter and playing 1b.
@ThroneSpud Not to have FSU at Dick Howser Stadium in this group is insane. They are top 10 in attendance and only the cowbells are louder them with only half the people.
@brettpn@Noles247 Thanks Brett. We have a work ahead of us with Coastal Caroline, St John’s and Northern Illinois. The road Omaha starts Friday in Tally and hopefully a chance may have to go through Tuscaloosa. Time will tell. We all phases to show up this weekend. Coastal is very tough.
@JoeDoyleMiLB Holy Bobcats …his bags are packed. Is he holding a sign SEC or Bust or does ACC school have a chance? Does UCLA try him to replace their SS? Can he be a team player? Only time will tell. Shame we wont see him during the region play!
@11point7@austinowens26 Also looking deep at FSU catchers they had eight of them were first team All-Americans: Buddy Teagle, Ken Suarez, Terry Kennedy, Pedro Grifol, Jeremy Salazar, Tony Ritchie, Buster Posey and Matheu Nelson.
Three were national player of the year in Kennedy, Posey and Nelson.
@11point7@austinowens26 You forget to mention FSU Catchers Terry Kennedy and Mat Nelson when you were debating GT vs FSU as catcher U. There is a good argument for Oregon State a few years ago. I will give GT the edge now but FSU been developing Catchers for ago time.
