The International Multisensory Research Forum (IMRF) provides a platform for scientists to highlight research investigating multiple sensory modalities.
As for registration, early registration is recommended.
Please start looking for a hotel room early. There is the Danube Festival the same week of IMRF. We reserved some rooms only until a month prior to the meeting. When booking, please refer to“IMRF” to get our conference rates
Dear friends of IMRF,
upon multiple request, we decided to extend the abstract submission deadline for the IMRF2022 by some days to April 07th.
You can submit new abstracts for talks and posters until that date: https://t.co/2pMXillUJM
Symposia accepted in 2020 keep their accepted status. As an organiser of one symposium, please verify that all presenters are still on board. Abstracts can be updated by the organiser of the symposium. In case of a drop out of 1or2 speakers it is best to exchange them by new ones
Here is a link to the current regulations in the state of Baden Württemberg, which is permanently adapted as the situation changes:

We will keep you posted as soon as we have more information.
Dear IMRF friends,
as you are aware, predictions into the longer future have been proven to be very difficult during the pandemic. We are still very determined to host IMRF in the summer of 2022 as an in presence meeting for July 4-7 2022 in Ulm, Germany https://t.co/ECbep4GOVP
However, as you are aware, the situation and thus rules keep changing. In any case it cannot hurt to register early to secure your space, as limits, if they apply, will be done on a first come first serve basis
Registrations will stay valid in case you already registered. Otherwise new registration dates will be announced shortly.
Sorry for the inconvenience this third postponement may cause and thanks for your understanding.
Be safe and stay healthy!!!!
Dear participants,
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic situation is still affecting all our lives. The prediction for summer 2021 does not look like it will allow all of us travelling internationally without restrictions or holding a meeting with many people present.
However, you can of course log on and adapt your abstracts (or symposia) until the new deadline for abstract submission. We will announce the new deadlines in due time. The abstract submission and registration page can be found here.
For abstract submission and registration: https://t.co/7LAGdRxWpB
For those who already registered, your registrations will stay valid. Others can register at any time. The new deadlines will be announced soon.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Be safe & stay healthy!!!!
Although the COVID-19 situation is getting better in some countries, it is still getting worse in many others, and travelling to/from Germany is still far from normal. Therefore, we decided to postpone the IMRF meeting once again (hopefully for the last time) to June 07-10, 2021
Same applies for symposia already accepted. As the symposia have already gone through a review process, we would check the changes, and in case of substantial revisions we would probably review them again. We will announce the new deadlines for submission and registration soon
