If you guys want to improve at VGC, stop relying on AI tools. There’s an alarming number of those I am seeing on my feed right now.
The best way to grow is to build your network and play the game. AI will just make you bad at this game. Please, listen!!!!
Bittersweet run considering I was just a tera timeout away from keeping Hearthome alive in PPTL9, I could've had the guts to learn dozo for Pokecon 3, and was starting to have fun with VGC again after half a year.
Anyway time to explore what else life has to offer!
Recalled my Pokecon 2 Dragonite for what was possibly my last day of playing VGC in 2024.
Brought out the high class items, learned dozo which I was afraid of using, and was just a penultimate round away from a Team 🇵🇭 return despite underperforming in 2024.
Come back stronger!
Played probably the most exciting set of this PPTL even if the speed tie went against me in the final turn of g3.
Maybe lady luck as something in store for me with my tough luck this season (enough to have a compilation reel at this point).
Two years on, I'm admittedly in a less than ideal state after hitting a slump, and learning the hard way that VGC success is not a straight line.
But overall, things are starting to light up, and his win has increased said light even more. 🤗
Watched HH's newbie cleanly beat a vet today.
Seeing his every win giving him self confidence despite coming from a less than ideal state before reminded me on how VGC gave me the same self-confidence after coming from a similar state 2 years ago. 🥺
Ambient setup again for PPTL matchday due to an electricity interruption an hour before my match.
RNGsus was not my friend on and off the field for today, but we move on and strive to be better.
Shoutout to @thatguyinabeani for inspiring me to try my hand in covering VGC tournaments after seeing your posts and talking in 🇯🇵 about it.
Capturing VGC moments is priceless.
Pro bono PGP media team member for today's 🇵🇭 nats.
Got the chance to cover the first onsite nationals, and support my friends on the side.
Probably found my VGC retirement calling while helping the Pokemon community, but I'll work hard to bring my switch next year. 😤😤😤
Why I love to do photography: to capture moments like this.
The community's reaction when Iron Crown's focus blast connected to OHKO Incineroar, and seal the set win for Pong in T4 (who went on to win the whole thing after that).
What an honor.
