@ThePrimeagen Only reason AI has multiplied my output is because it’s reducing administrative burden in my primary (non-development/coding) career. I code for fun. Real job is currently healthcare administration. The administrative burdens I’ve done away with cannot be overstated.
@OpenAI@thsottiaux where did 5.5 go? "rate limit exceeded" errors when trying to do anything.
verified I'm paid up, connected to the interwebs, all that. I'm sad face now :(
@RohdeAli 100%. But I'm not a developer as a career. I run an Army Troop Clinic and have a lot of administrative tasks. Automating certain things has VASTLY improved my throughput and ability to get back to what matters: interacting with and leading my team.
@dickmagician007@fandompulse Active duty. 16+ years. Who are you so angry at, my guy? And why? Is it just because you're behind the comfort of anonymity? I don't feel the need to continue engaging with you, but I hope you figure out whatever is causing you so much turmoil.
@davis7 What is it that makes 5.5 low/medium so good? I don't understand (though I see the results). I would love to have Pi but with a T3 or Codex GUI, though. Goodness that would be sweet.
@DrClownPhD I'm all for playing strong female characters. But they don't need to be co-opting an already male-protagonist IP. It feels cheap and it feels like pandering which is why it never works. Make a strong female lead from the ground up, make it a good game, and you'll win.
@mattpocockuk@AOJDevStudio@IndyDevDan I am the HTML hammer in search of a nail. Sometimes I hit the wall, sometimes I hit a baby, but every so often I get that nail and it's sooo sweet.
@vikingmute@emilkowalski Literally was about to do this. Maybe I’ll feed Claude and codex the same prompt and see if there’s differences in how they animate.
@kentcdodds I’m introducing a bill to steal 50% of private business’ and give them away? There’s a word for when the people own the means of production. It’s been tried multiple times and fails every time.
Voting for theft doesn’t make it not theft.
@solaticlunatic@ThePrimeagen Yeah I can agree there. Once you get to the craziness at the end of the first book I think it starts getting better. The world building was pretty good throughout the series imo. I actually cared what happened to characters.
@ThePrimeagen Hear me out. My wife had me read the Throne of Glass series despite it being “romantasy”. But there wasn’t any of that until the later books, it was easily shippable because I’m not interested in it, and the books were actually good fantasy reads imo.
@pbakaus@OpenAI It used to work putting it in the agents.md file something like “if a skill I directly invoke calls for the use of subagents you may use them without asking my permission”. I’ll have to go test it now when I get home.
