मैं आज बालाघाट आ रहा हूं।

उन आदिवासी परिवारों से मिलने, जिन्होंने बीमारी और BJP सरकार की उपेक्षा के कारण अपने मासूम बच्चों को खोया है। उनके साथ वक्त बिताकर उन्हें बताना चाहता हूं कि इस दुख में वो अकेले नहीं हैं - मैं उनके साथ हूं।

कुछ दिनों पहले केन-बेतवा आंदोलन के आदिवासी भाई-बहनों से भी मिला था। परियोजना के कारण आज उनके गांव डूब रहे हैं, मगर सरकार से उन्हें न पुनर्वास मिला न मुआवज़ा - मिला है तो प्रताड़ना, सरकारी दमन और हिंसा।

इंदौर में ‘छात्रों की गूँज’ के दौरान भी आदिवासी छात्रों ने बताया - स्कूल नहीं हैं, कॉलेज बदहाल हैं, हॉस्टल और खाना नर्क जैसा, परीक्षाओं में धांधली और उनके आरक्षण के अधिकार से खिलवाड़ हो रहा है।

मध्यप्रदेश के आदिवासियों की ये तकलीफें BJP-RSS की उस सोच का हिस्सा हैं जो उन्हें भारत के पहले मालिक नहीं, वनवासी मानती है। जल, जंगल, जमीन के साथ शिक्षा, रोजगार और सम्मान भी छीन लेना चाहती है और अहंकार में वो कुछ सुनना नहीं चाहती।

आदिवासी भाई-बहनों को आश्वस्त करता हूं कि मैं आपके साथ हर संघर्ष में खड़ा हूं - आपकी आवाज़ बुलंद करना मेरी ज़िम्मेदारी है और मैं इस बहरी सरकार को वो पूरी शक्ति के साथ सुनाऊंगा।

Porur Unnikrishnan is an acclaimed percussion artist who lives beside a Shiva temple that dates back more than two thousand years. Meeting him and his team was a privilege. We discussed the ways in which temple arts can be supported better and how young people are still deeply interested in learning these traditional art forms. I asked him what his dream is, and he replied that he would like to keep playing the drums for as long as he lives!

Stop punishing women for the crimes committed against them.

Across our country, women are afraid to walk the streets, afraid of being harassed, afraid of being raped. And the government’s answer: stay at home.

This is patriarchy at work: a system that blames the victim and shields the criminal. It is time to smash it.

The solution is not to lock women inside. It is to make our streets safe, to confront the mindset of men who mistreat women, and to punish those who attack them, swiftly and without exception.

Thousands of students and young people are on the streets demanding safety for women. I urge even more young women, especially GenZ across India to come out in stronger numbers.

This government is deaf to your pain and will only listen when it’s under pressure.

Peaceful protest is your democratic right, and I stand with you wholeheartedly.

It is becoming increasingly difficult for these hard working and dignified men and women to earn a living as auto-rickshaw drivers as diesel prices soar and various costs increase. We discussed all the issues they are facing and I will be taking them up with the central and state governments. Hopefully we will manage to give them some support as they face these difficulties.

यमुना किनारे बेला एस्टेट में 728 लोग रहते हैं। SIR के बाद वोटर लिस्ट में सिर्फ़ एक नाम बचा - बाकी 727 नाम काट दिए गए।

ये लोग दशकों से यहाँ रह रहे हैं। 2024 के लोकसभा चुनाव और 2025 के दिल्ली चुनावों में वोट डाल चुके हैं। 2023 में इनके घर तोड़ दिए गए थे - पर ये कहीं नहीं गए, यहीं हैं।

आज मैं इनकी झुग्गी में गया और सीधे इन्हीं से सुना कि चुनाव आयोग ने इनके साथ क्या किया है।

SDM से फ़ोन पर मैंने यही कहा - मकान होने या न होने का वोट के अधिकार से कोई रिश्ता नहीं है। ख़ुद CEC ज्ञानेश कुमार कह चुके हैं कि "हाउस नंबर 0" बेघरों के लिए है। फिर भी 727 लोगों का नाम काट दिया गया।

यह SIR नहीं - यह वोट चोरी का तरीक़ा है। जिनके पास पहले ही सबसे कम है, उनसे उनकी इकलौती ताक़त छीनी जा रही है।

ज्ञानेश कुमार तो जाएँगे। पर जिस सिस्टम ने उनसे यह करवाया, उसका हिसाब भी होगा।

दिल्ली की BJP सरकार के एक मंत्री वीडियो में एक नौजवान को थप्पड़ मारते दिख रहे हैं।

उसका गुनाह? वो वीडियो बना रहा था।
मंत्री के सामने सड़क खोदकर दिखाई जा रही थी, और उसके हाथ में कैमरा था।

ये उस सत्ता का चेहरा है जिसे अब वोटर से डर लगना बंद हो गया है।

सड़क पर सवाल पूछो - थप्पड़।
पेपर लीक पर सवाल पूछो - लाठी।
संसद में सवाल पूछो - माइक बंद।

ये लोग ऐसा इसलिए करते हैं क्योंकि इन्हें अब ये डर ही नहीं कि चुनाव इन्हें हटा सकता है। वोट चोरी यही ख़रीदती है - सिर्फ़ नतीजा नहीं, उसके बाद आने वाला अहंकार भी।

जो सरकार जीत को पक्का मान लेती है, उसे आपकी रज़ामंदी नहीं चाहिए - आपकी ख़ामोशी और अंधभक्ति चाहिए।
