THE ETERNAL LOVE STORY OF SHIVA💘
Gauri was born in the clan of Brahma as a daughter of Daksh Prajapati. She was having golden turmeric skin colour hence she was named Gauri. Since childhood she had immense connection and attraction for Shiva which slowly got converted into getting Mahadev as her life partner.
One by one she started rejecting marriage proposals of many glorified kings. More she ignored proposals, more her father Daksh got furious on her such atrocities. Daksh was never comfortable to Shiva for His peculiar habits and strange mannerism.

It was Lord Brahma who did all the planning to arrange the wedding of Shiva who was so reluctant in everything, How could anybody disturb Shiva's trance, Who goes to transcendental form for minimum 2lakh fifty thousand years? Once he enters into trance, he enjoys the highest and deepest bliss. So why should he come back, Who constantly used to criticize the married life of Vishnu? So the only solution was to get Shiva Married. Brahma requested Adi Shakti to take birth on this earth for the same purpose. Still Shiva remained absorbed in his eternal trance.

It was sage Dadhichi who first briefed about Lord Shiva to Gauri. He gave her Bel leaf and asked her to pray with the leaf. Evrytime Gauri met Shiva she was smitten by Lord. Many a times they looked at each other and He just got disappeared suddenly.

To win the heart of Shiva, Gauri left all her luxuries, left the palace of her father and started living in forest to devote herself in the austerity of Shiva.

Slowly, love blossoms 🌸between the two but Daksh was completely against 👎this union. So he arranged swayamvar for Gauri, and kept one huge statue of Mahadev in the front door as a gate keeper. But such trick of Daksh could not stop her affection for Mahadevji, she puts the garland around the statue of Shiva.
Shiva and Gauri started living in Kailash but they had some conflicts due to her human nature. One of these were when she took the form of Sita and faced lord Ram after which Siva denied to take her back in that form of Gauri.
Later Gauri attended the Yagna arranged by her father where she burnt herself due to the insult of her husband Shiva by her father in that Yagna. Almost everyone knows that story of Gauri jumping into the fire of that Yagna and being Sati.
The story of Shiva and Sati is one of tragic romance that transcends death to find fruition when Sati reincarnates as the Goddess Parvati and becomes one with her eternal mate Lord Shiva.
Shiva and Gauri’s love was so eternal and beyond the Universe so she had to born again to complete him because he is incomplete without her and so she is.
