@Acrosby_sl6 @Jonbennett8Jon @TheVanaramaNL @neilmaskell79 @Vanarama So youβre going to stop going to away games when streaming is available? Youβll still go as will all of the away regulars. But what will happen in reality is the people who never travel away anyway may indulge in purchasing a stream. This could boost the usual 100 to 300 away
@mwoot_17@Ch31in @graham__lynch @jane36london@TheVanaramaNL@Vanarama What was the percentage swing in attendances? Was it covered by the bt money? Do you think fans who didnβt travel to the game would pay to stream it (if it wasnβt on BT)?
@jane36london@mwoot_17@Ch31in @graham__lynch @TheVanaramaNL@Vanarama Iβm sure the clubs will appreciate the extra revenue from non travelling fans, especially the fans who never/seldomly travel away, who pay to stream the games.
@mwoot_17@Ch31in @graham__lynch @jane36london@TheVanaramaNL@Vanarama So by your logic tomorrow's game between York & Wrexham, which is a 12:30 ko live on bt sport should see a drop in the attendance. Yorks last attendance figure was 4770.
Will check that tomorrow π
@jane36london@TheVanaramaNL@Vanarama Itβs been mentioned multiple times that the revenue getβs distributed between all of the clubs. Meaning if one club gets thousands of fans paying to stream the game then they wonβt solely benefit, everyone will. This has never been a secret so it amazes me people donβt know this!
