And in the same time period, we had Nehruvian Socialism in the country where we discouraged foreign investments, stifled out private sector, kept millions of Indians poor, made sure that all manufacturing went to other Asian countries and did rationing of things as everything was in manufactured shortage. We refused the Fairchild Semiconductor(father of Semiconductor industry) in the 1960s when it wanted to put a Semiconductor factory in India. It went to Hong Kong instead.

Hence, this statement of '1947 does not affect 2026' is not only stupid, but criminal.
