Thank you @narendramodi for the invitation to visit the impressive Statue of Unity. It is an engineering marvel and a great tribute to Sardar Patel. Also great to see it is creating economic opportunity for local tribal communities, especially women.
Glad to meet Australian High Commissioner Philip Green this afternoon.
Spoke on the next steps in the 🇮🇳 🇦🇺 partnership.

The conferment of Bharat Ratna on Shri LK Advani ji is a recognition of his enormous contribution to our national development.
Over the years, in many ways he has shaped key moments in the evolution of Bharat.
His leadership in Government and role in public life have been inspirational.
India creates yet another landmark. India’s first solar observatory Aditya-L1 reaches it’s destination. It is a testament to the relentless dedication of our scientists in realising among the most complex and intricate space missions. I join the nation in applauding this extraordinary feat. We will continue to pursue new frontiers of science for the benefit of humanity.

India 🇮🇳 and Russia 🇷🇺 are in a neck to neck race to see who can land a spacecraft on the Moon’s South Pole for the time in history.
Despite India’s Chandrayaan-3 lifting off on July 14, Russia’s Luna-25 is expected to touchdown August 21, two days before India.
Godspeed to a soft touchdown for both respective spacecrafts.
