So my mum gets diagnosed with cancer around 2018 when she came back from states. Here she was already sick but full of life. It was definitely a hard time for us and a lot changed. We ended up moving to a smaller house, an apartment called Ridor owned by @Pastor_Dorcas

Madness in Kakamega today: police tear-gassed a busload of Friends School Binyenya kids returning from a music festival in Mumias — mistaken for United Opposition rally supporters. This is what happens when our police are weaponized for politics instead of protecting citizens. Sad.
Maraga Pledges Support for Young Digital Creators After Nairobi CBD Meeting
Former Chief Justice and presidential hopeful David Maraga has pledged support for Kenya's growing digital economy following an engagement with young content creators, photographers, and videographers in Nairobi's Central Business District.
Speaking after the meeting, Maraga said he spent part of his afternoon learning about the creators' work, aspirations, and the challenges they face in earning a living.
"It was a pleasure spending part of my afternoon with young content creators, photographers and videographers in Nairobi's CBD and learning more about their work and aspirations," he said.
The creators raised concerns over the rising cost of living, including the recent fuel price increase, which they said has negatively affected their businesses and livelihoods.
"They shared concerns about the high cost of living, including the recent fuel price hike, and its impact on their ability to earn a dignified living," Maraga noted.
Acknowledging the growing role of technology in creating employment opportunities for young people, Maraga emphasized the need for government support.
"As more young people turn to technology and digital platforms to create opportunities for themselves, we must support their efforts," he said.
Maraga further promised that his administration would explore measures aimed at easing the burden on digital entrepreneurs.
"I assured them that my administration will explore tax incentives and rebates to support content creators and other digital entrepreneurs," he added.
The remarks come amid increasing calls for policies that support Kenya's expanding digital and creative economy, which has become a key source of income for many young people. @dkmaraga
As the first week of the new school term comes to an end, we need to remind ourselves that article 53(1)(b) of the Constitution is not ambiguous.
Every child is entitled to free and compulsory basic education.
That is Ukatiba: the Constitution speaking, clearly and without condition.
When public schools are understaffed, underfunded, and overcrowded, that is not a policy failure. It is a constitutional violation.
Ukatiba demands we name it as such, and fix it.
