But this sequence of causes and effects is rationally impossible. Therefore, the real cause must be a cause that has no beginning .

If our universe came from a cause that has the same characteristics, then it would not be eternal and would need another cause for its existence, and so on.

You are trying to make a short story long, so basically you are saying our universe is eternal! And that's impossible...
