Now it sits as Chxpter 5 in Carolina…a love series. It’s always dope to look back and be reminded that the things we start in private sometimes become the foundation for the dreams we eventually share with the world.
Crazy how far a story can travel.

Today, since I was off work, I had the chance to dig through some old files and found the screenplay for Stay.
It was the first completed screenplay I ever wrote. Back then, I honestly thought it would stay in the vault forever. Instead, it became part of something much bigger.
If you want to read love, heartbreak, brotherhood, healing, and life from a male point of view, I hope you give Carolina…a love series a chance.
See you soon. Talk to you sooner.

I started writing the bones for Carolina…a love series in 2012. Life shifted after that. Fatherhood, family, love, responsibility, and going back to school all required more of me, and I’ve always prided myself on showing up fully for whatever is in front of me.
This Sunday morning, I thank GOD for keeping me and for keeping the fire to tell stories alive in my heart and mind. We are getting close to release, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Happy National Authors Day! While I don’t have any official works out, I pray in the next coming months I can make it to your TBR. #ReadingIsFly#IMTEDWHITE#beOUTSTANDING
Watching Michael again…and it made me realize something. A lot of the time, we don't hold back because we're afraid to fail, but because we're afraid to make others uncomfortable...And in trying not to do that, we stop choosing ourselves.
I realized something recently. Not every pressure you carry belongs to you. Sometimes it comes from trying to become who people expect you to be, and after a while, you lose pieces of yourself trying to meet their version of you.
