A year ago, I filed an application in probably the most important case I had ever been instructed on.

This triggered an unhinged response from supporters of genocide that resulted in smearing in the press, defamatory attacks by low grade politicians in senior positions, doxxing and death threats, baseless regulatory investigations, and detention and interrogation by counter-terrorism police who seized and downloaded my work phone.

At the same time, we were inundated with messages of love, support and solidarity from people in Britain and all over the world including South Africa and Palestine. The application seemed to have struck a chord with countless numbers of people who were frustrated that Israeli genocide was being perpetrated with complete impunity with any and all forms of resistance being criminalised.

Thanks to their incredible solidarity and the justness of the Palestinian cause, my colleagues and I are still here.

We are not going anywhere.
