@googlefi hey, my google fi went SOS suddenly and I am unable to connect to any network. Can you please look into this? Can’t reach your customer service either. I am going to wait the night and would switch over to another network tomorrow morning if you don’t sort it out.

Yayyy!!! Guess how much paid for a Sunday 5:30 PM show at the @smithsonian IMAX in DC? $18
While the greedy bastards at @PrathyangiraUS want us to pay $35 to watch it on a tiny doormat screen.
#PEDDI - USA 🇺🇸 Update:
We know how much you love watching films in Premium Large Formats (PLF), and we've always been committed to securing as many PLF shows as possible for every movie we distribute.
However, as we mentioned earlier, every release date comes with its own challenges. PEDDI premieres are arriving at a time when major Hollywood releases have already occupied most PLF screens across the country. Even then, we worked closely with exhibitors to secure as many PLF shows as possible by adjusting showtimes wherever feasible.
At this point, the PLF shows currently on sale represent the final count that will be available for the premieres.
Please don't wait for any more PLF shows to be added and book your tickets to the standard shows that are already available.
Theatres will continue to ramp up the number of standard shows over the weekend and on Monday based on demand.
Thank you for your incredible support. Let's come together and celebrate the glory of PEDDI in theatres on June 3rd.
See you at the movies!
I have spent my entire life working on this and thinking about this for the past 4 years. I don't know what will happen in 20 years, but I can promise you that on the 5-10 year timescale, scientists are not out of their jobs. AI is going to massively accelerate the pace of science, increase productivity, let individual scientists make way more discoveries way faster, and is going to make science overall more fun. But the model is going to be collaboration between humans and AI, not replacement.
The key difference here between science and e.g. software engineering is that science is not verifiable in any rapid/convenient way (unlike software), unlike programming. We still need humans for their scientific taste.
Karpathy is misunderstood. he isn’t an oracle; he’s a teacher. we credit him with forecasting the weather, but he’s really just looking out the window and describing the rain very well. he’s an absolutely brilliant explainer. but don’t look to him as a clairvoyant seer of future
It’s a shame that in this day and age, we can’t access bus routes and timings on Google Maps (Vizag) but hey let’s go full on AI and Quantum Materials huh @naralokesh@AndhraPradeshCM
