@prime9news@TelanganaCMO@revanth_anumula Why is a small 400 ml Coca-Cola Zero Sugar ₹440 at LuLu Mall, Hyderabad? 😡 Please look into the pricing and verify whether it complies with consumer protection rules. Customers deserve fair and transparent pricing! #Hyderabad
I request the Telangana government and Consumer Affairs Department to look into this issue and take appropriate action if any violation is found.

Dear @TelanganaCMO@revanth_anumula, I visited LuLu Mall, Hyderabad, and was shocked to see a small 440 ml Coca-Cola Zero Sugar priced at ₹440. Why are customers being charged such high prices? Is this pricing compliant with applicable MRP and consumer protection rules?

Order #241992764238417 was placed at 1:42 AM with a promised delivery time of 30 minutes. I waited until 2:15 AM and then went to sleep. The delivery partner called only at 2:27 AM, after the promised delivery time

The 28-Day “Monthly” Recharge SCAM.
I raised this in Parliament today.
Telecom companies call their plans “monthly” — but they last only 28 days.
That means prepaid users pay for 13 recharges in a year instead of 12.
28 days × 13 recharges = 364 days
If it’s monthly, it should follow the actual calendar month.
Consumers deserve better. Not these clever tricks.
India’s democracy resides in Jansabhas just as much as it lives in the Lok Sabha, Rajyasabha and Vidhan Sabhas.
During Question Hour in Parliament, I raised a supplementary question on Panchayati Raj.
The 73rd and 74th Constitutional Amendments were meant to ‘decentralise power’ The principle was simple. Decisions about a village should be taken by the village, not in Delhi or a state capital.
How can a Babu sitting hundreds of kilometres away decide that a village needs a musical fountain when that village may still be struggling for drinking water and electricity? Those priorities must be decided by the Gram Sabha.
But somewhere along the way, decentralisation appears to have stalled. Institutional resistance, fragmented authority and a lack of enforcement have slowed the transfer of real power to the local level.
So we must ask honestly.
Are Panchayats truly self governing institutions, or have they been reduced to merely implementing agencies for schemes designed elsewhere?
And when a Gram Sabha takes a decision, is there any binding mechanism to ensure it is implemented?
Periods are natural. Stigma is not.
If a girl misses school because there are no sanitary pads, no water and no privacy, it is not her personal problem. It is our collective failure.
We live in a country where alcohol and cigarettes are sold openly, but sanitary pads are still wrapped in newspaper as if they must be hidden. Somewhere along the way, society turned a biological fact into a social taboo.
A matter of science has been turned into a matter of silence.
Menstrual hygiene is not charity. It is not a favour. It is not a side issue.
It is a matter of health, education and equality. Above all, it is a matter of dignity.
Raised this issue in Parliament today because it affects over 35 crore women and girls in India. A nation cannot call itself truly progressive if millions of girls still face fear, shame and silence for something so basic. The real test of progress is simple. The day every girl in India can go to school, live with dignity and speak about this without stigma, that will be the day we can truly say our society has moved forward.
I introduced a Private Member Bill titled The Asset Tokenisation (Regulation) Bill, 2026 in Parliament.
The Bill is a forward-looking framework to bring legal clarity, transparency and investor protection to the emerging ecosystem of tokenised real-world assets in India.
Key Features of the Bill:
1) It provides legal recognition to asset tokenisation in India.
2) It establishes a statutory framework for issuance, trading, custody and settlement of tokenised real-world assets.
3) Introduction of regulatory oversight and supervision of tokenised asset markets.
4) Ensures investor protection and safeguards market integrity.
5) Aims to maintain financial stability while fostering innovation in digital finance.

Who’d have thunk that a boy will learn a new language well into his late 20s, write his debut directorial eventually in Telugu, winning his first National award for best Screenplaywright amongst giants in the field.
And now in the best films of 2025.
Proud of this man. Always.
