@Olu_Abiodun01 150 sitting there is a lot to burn wisely. Worth filtering for the best-fit jobs first instead of applying fast just to use them up. I use AI to check client fit/history before spending Connects, helps make sure they don't go to waste.
@Harrison_Fcb@SirAlexanderrr This would be genuinely useful, proposal writing is where most people get stuck after they've already filtered the right jobs.
@omoyorubadboi It can be, but it's tough starting out with no reviews. The biggest fix for wasted Connects is filtering before applying, check payment verified, hire rate, clear scope.
@Ghulam_Haider65 Can't fully review without opening the link, but generally add strong portfolio pieces, and boosting the profile matters less than applying to the right jobs. I use Replyze to check client fit before applying, might be worth trying instead of relying on the boost.
Building in AI, SaaS, or Automation? π οΈ
Twitter is full of noise, but I want to find genuine builders to connect with. No fluff, just pure tech.
If you are a dev or founder, drop your current project below. Iβm checking out every single link! π
@sophie_launch Not the founder, but on the team at Replyze, a Chrome extension for LinkedIn, X, and Upwork. Scores Upwork jobs on client history/fit before you spend a Connect, and scores LinkedIn posts while drafting replies in your voice. https://t.co/1TAEXTVbz4
@Mundacio Definitely the hardest bridge to cross, both platforms lean heavily on social proof, so with zero reviews or track record you're starting from behind. Once that first one lands though, momentum picks up fast.
@dddronnn 119 proposals and Upwork's like 'have you tried offering more'? At some point it's not about outbidding everyone, it's about not applying to jobs with 119 competitors in the first place π .
@RomytheVA 100%. Quality over quantity. I'd add, researching the client (hire history, payment verified) before even starting the proposal saves time too, no point tailoring a pitch for a client who was never going to hire. For this use an AI tool saves lot of my time
@polsia This is a smart gap to go after, most tools only watch the usual platforms. Curious how you're handling the monitoring across such different formats (Reddit threads vs Slack DMs vs Discord channels).
@Sir_BenBoye Agreed, volume brings competition. Beyond a strong profile, filtering jobs before applying (client history, hire rate) helps a lot too. I use an AI tool for that part, keeps me from competing on jobs that were never worth it.
@jacobAlswin Hey! Not the founder, but part of the https://t.co/90FGnJ7s85 team, a Chrome extension for LinkedIn, X, and Upwork. Scores Upwork jobs on client history/fit before you spend a Connect, and scores LinkedIn posts while drafting replies in your voice. Falls under SaaS/automation.
@AleezaShai32174 That's huge, repeat business is the strongest signal you're doing something right. Contracts based on trust like that don't come easy. Congrats on landing the second one!
@benfchi Part of the Replyze team here (not the founder), we've built a Chrome extension for LinkedIn, X, and Upwork. It scores Upwork jobs based on client history and fit before you spend a Connect, and scores LinkedIn posts while drafting replies in your voice. https://t.co/1TAEXTVbz4
@shirshakchavan@X Not the founder, but on the team at Replyze, a Chrome extension for LinkedIn, X, and Upwork. Scores Upwork jobs on client history/fit before you spend a Connect, and scores LinkedIn posts + drafts replies in your voice. https://t.co/1TAEXTVbz4
