Another thing that pisses me off about the pro life crowd is the “babies are a consequence of unprotected sex” BABIES SHOULDNT BE A CONSEQUENCE THATS HOW CHILDREN END UP BEING ABUSED
"the human brain has yet to adapt to our world" is a weird way to say "the system we set up to make a handful of people extremely rich generally sucks for everyone else"
@gojivryuk5@jonnydaire23@4res44444444 my point is essentially that it’s naive to write off those caught in the epidemic as simply drug fiends when it’s more so a byproduct of deeper issues (and obv the cia’s role)
@gojivryuk5@jonnydaire23@4res44444444 no one forced anyone but it’s ignorant to disregard the years of systemic racism prior. if u starve someone for weeks then give them poison, chances are they’re going to drink. obv they know it’s not a great decision but it’s temporary relief
t break day 8/24: lowk had a meltdown in the airport cuz i got overstimulated by our flight being delayed 3 times, every bathroom smelling like piss, the flight being canceled, then being asked to go thru security again to get our luggage✌️
@gojivryuk5@jonnydaire23@4res44444444 this is exactly the inability to understand nuance they were talking about. something like this doesn’t just boil down to “at the end of the day.”
@4res44444444 You can’t really argue with these people about things like this. They don’t have the real life/world experience to understand nuance. They see the world in black and white. You’ll notice most of these peoples ages are under 25.
@Samsuka1984 systemic racism made it more likely for black communities to both turn to drugs and to be arrested for doing so. what’s white ppl’s excuse for fent?
@lovelygalkia They don't even care about the Black people prior to season 6. It's a bunch of people that just started watching this past season, or just jumped on the hype of defending KC, without much knowledge of the show. Their opinion is based on bias and and an unwillingness to google.
Police DO NOT prevent crime; they respond to it. Crime is prevented by higher wages, guaranteed health care, food security, high-quality child care, housing, good schools, and addiction treatment.
The concept of this movie is still messing me up. Making a movie about having one night where premarital sex is legal and then turning into a romcom instead of a surveillance state thriller is so insane.
