@badaguchhias We are proud to be Deaf. Our Deaf community represents identity, language, culture, and Deaf gain, with our own sign language. 'Deaf' is a positive term.🤟💪
I dislike the terms 'dumb' and 'mute.' It's incorrect to use 'deaf and dumb' or 'deaf mute.' The correct term is 'Deaf,' which is the term used by our Deaf community.

"We need enabling conditions for society to overcome ableism. Excluding individuals from services due to social structures, biases, and inaccessibility is unjust” - Satender Singh Pannu, visually-impaired IAS https://t.co/8rGuK2zMY6
🫡♿️ I agree with you @drsitu. You clearly explained the points about the IAS fake disability certificate fraud, which helps MBM News translate Indian Sign Language so that our Deaf community can understand it better. You are both a doctor and a disability rights activist.
My interview with @RemaNagarajan in Indian Sign Language on fake disability certification.
Thank you Mook Badhir Mandal, Vadodara

@SmitaSabharwal Bigotry isn't "strength of character*, Ms. Sabharwal. As an able bodied IAS officer, your voice didn't shake even a little while speaking against disabled people in ignorance of law, and constitution. Understandably, you're scared after FIR, that doesn't turn you into a hero.
Grateful to the Supreme Court of India for creating guidelines on portrayal of Persons with Disabilities in visual media, following my petition against @SonyPicsIndia for lampooning PwDs in 'Aankh Micholi.'
Happy about the distinction made in the judgement between “disability humour” that educates and “disabling humour” that belittles.
Huge thanks to my friend and lawyer @Jai_a_dehadrai and @advsanjoy, Pulkit Agarwal for their unwavering support. #DisabilityRights #Inclusion #Justice
