Dog shit take. Gonna be a bunch of anime avatars, nepotism babies and/or perpetually online RL Scavs who read this and go "preach"
And to assume that people 25-32, on average, DON'T have children or responsibilities? depressing.
If you're currently 25-32, please read this carefully.
You're actually standing at a crossroads that few people realize.
You're no longer young enough to act recklessly, but you're not old enough to be unable to start over.
The most dangerous thing at this stage isn't failure, but rather the fear of trying.
You'll start thinking: "I don't really like this job, but it seems okay?" "I'm not sure if this path is right, but will things get worse if I switch?" So you keep dragging things out.
But I want to tell you directly: 25-32 is the time in your life when the cost of making mistakes is lowest.
You have the energy, the time, some experience, and you don't have a mortgage, children, or aging parents to weigh on you.
So now: Change jobs, learn new skills, travel, go anywhere you want to go, move to another city, start a business, fail.
Waste time on things you want to know, because you can afford to waste it now.
For many people, the most painful thing isn't failure, but knowing that they could have taken a different path back then, but didn't.
@kelskiYT I think with marathon specifically, it will be more akin to a roguelite experience; less of a hard restart. More of a chance to start a new run after spending the currency you've earned in game.
@Dannyy_ac Highguard = mtx slop with terrible pacing, non existent meaningful or impactful progression with a nonsense narrative. Every "feature" was clunky (terrible gathering system, mounts only used for Zoomer movement, flow breaking character abilities, etc) idk why u feel how you do
@Tectone Digging the older style mmos like pantheon and aoc. Not for everyone, but i really enjoy the pacing and difficulty. Having to rely upon each other to progress feels great in an mmo
@k4ppagamer@OMGItsJuba@velion Not quite- let's try again:
The time costs kill the option for me. I get roughly an hour, 2 hours max per night to play.
Pvp:
5-10 minute queue.
Poorly placed pmc spawns force slow rotation or be punished for moving.
Rats at quest objs and extracts.
Vs
Pve
1 minute queue.
@OMGItsJuba@velion Fantastic points friend, but I'm not really lamenting over loss of items; I more mean the queue times, the behavior of other players (rats, exploit enjoyers, the Unemployed) and crazy instability of the game online (packet loss, disconnects, etc)
PvE removes all of it.
@Taiokaion You got gas or electric?
Electric- could be an element going bad. Turn off power, use a screwdriver to pull out and check your element. (Could also be your Tpms valve giving out. You'll see water around it if this is happening)
Gas: debris choking the pilot?
