Just riding the electric scooter in a new town get to the end of the lake shore area, find these amazing art installations! I think the horse is my favorite. Crazy what you can find when you go looking...

One reason I think going out and taking photos or videos is magic... Many times I'll be out and these serendipitous moments take place, like the universe thanking you for noticing.

Take this photogenic goose for example. it just came back from a swim in the lake and was drying off in the warm early fall sun. It stayed for a while as I captured a few different photos. It may be small, but I am grateful.

I love stumbling on older parks like this one. Look at that stone construction! Is it possible to have a blueprint for a building like this?

Life sized statues of soldiers across US history.

Veteran's memorial on the banks of Rice Lake. It was touching to see all of the life sized statues as well as the faces and names of some of our nations greatest heroes.

Spotted this cool little island in the middle of the lake. I wonder if the 3 trees there are natural or were planted... very cool!

Historic Downtown Rice Lake, WI. There was a lot so see in this beautiful pocket of Wisconsin. I love the corn stalks on the light poles, so festive.

Remnants of a former monorail from the 1930's. It would transport loads for the lumber industry.... must have been a sight to see in it's day.
