@De_Eessh @KingMntungwa This is on NM Blvd. The furthest left lane is an off-ramp slipway. Taxis use the slip lane to then cut ahead of backed-up traffic. Yes, front damage is relevant, but it's clear from the angle he was cutting across "without checking". We know he knew there was a car there.

Forms/Kata/drills exist (and are what one would spend most of their time training in) to instill muscle memory and produce a "choreographed" response to the situation. Robots don't need to think to be physically effective.
