@AliEldrazi Prizing is literally the biggest reason I stepped back from playing mtg. It’s just not worth the time investment, let alone the monetary investment. Now I’ll still play to see friends and support local events but that’s at a loss always
@frenmaker89007@Asmongold@dancingofpens Why? I’m not sure if you understand how america was founded but it was by people being unhappy about where they were born…
@Asmongold@dancingofpens You’re just advocating for a geographical lottery. By your standard, if someone wanted to immigrate here and have a family they would have to plan 7-10 years in the future. Also having one parent being a citizen is exploitable and a huge legal burden on the state to prove
@d00mwake It seems like it should be two except it may be that the attack gets lumped into the “or more” part so the game could see it as one lizard is triggering both claws so you only get one counter
@MartinJuza I’ve found everyone ends up in a very solid 2 color deck where the drafting portion doesn’t really test any skill. The play is also very homogenized. It is significantly faster to do the draft portion though so there is something to be said about that
@mitchellsocks@ecobaronen@Karatedom10 In the scenario I responded to he didn’t think it was fair a group of people got earned invites and instead should go to other, newer players who also deserve it since new inductions aren’t happening
@siziyman@ecobaronen@Karatedom10 Also Javier played in the PT from what I can tell, he just had a disappointing performance. So it seems like you didn’t care too much to watch people you deem deserving of you didn’t know he played in the event…
@siziyman@ecobaronen@Karatedom10 Well the short answer is he isn’t in the HoF. It’s a hold over from when competitive play actually had structure with achievements and goals. I think this argument is a reason to bring it back, not to take away something earned by HoF
@ecobaronen@Karatedom10 But someone does lose something, right? The people that like watching hall of famers play lose that experience. But if people are currently grinding they will qualify and their story will make them worth watching, just like the old pros.
@SammiRaeMurray The irony of them ordering a throat soothing blend in Charlie Kirk’s memory is incredible. Also if you come into a store acting like a loser it just seems like they wrote the correct name
@vampireskwrl They can say some of the most vile things in such a calm demeanor it’s alarming. It was Kirk’s brand. Say abhorrent things but in a friendly, welcoming tone and his audience was entranced.
@spaceghost I stopped interacting with any content that doesn’t have an actual person producing verbal content. I realized they were either a Russian bot or an idiot and either way you don’t want to feed them. Then I noticed those posts had thousands of comments and likes because they work
