Yesterday my wife spent 15 min aggressively arguing for a refund in a shop despite it being over 30 days since purchase and I backed her up like a true man by hanging back and pretending to read the ingredients on a packet on mints
@RokerReport@IK_Promotions Mad how much that Iceland game fucked us. If England had gone out to France it would have been: 'meh, hosts in the QFs'. Roy goes soon after but not in the stadium. No clammer for Sam and Southgate is probably appointed (like the FA wanted in the first place) after a 'process'
@RokerReport@IK_Promotions I'd say it was more Sam pushing the club to get it done. The non football people club thought they could save some cash. The mid-season expiry on his contract flummoxed them, whereas if a player of his quality was available for that price in Jan they'd 100% paid the fee.
Obviously, this would be a lot more complicated so it would be almost impossible to conclude within 10 days. Also, it would have to include more agent fees so any saving made may be eaten up by that. But it is a way that the deal could work and all parties could walk away happy
BVB: "Talk of Sancho leaving for less than €120m is media speculation. He'll leave for €120m before the 10th of August or not at all"
Man Utd will not meet this price & do not want to exceed the British transfer record but there is a way to do that & still make the deal work
Because of the options on their former players, Man Utd would be able to sign both for less than the British record fee (£89m). Theoretically then because their combined values are slightly higher than BVB asking price for Sancho, United could use both in a straight swap deal.
