@Aitch_GKR @salt22339258 @WendolynLamchop When my comment was about the media's history with his name, no the "it" was not obvious to me, especially when I never said that artist had bad intentions. Harm, micro-aggressions, etc. can happen even when someone has the best of intentions.

My comment was entirely talking about the history of how Mukhamadullin's name has been treated by people across the league, and that given this history, using his name for this type of joke is very weird

@salt22339258 @WendolynLamchop Even if the intention isn't bad, refusing to say Mukhamadullin's name and referring to him as a number is lazy at best. He is part of an ethnic minority in Russia, and we do not see the same jokes or people refusing to learn proper pronunciation for players like Nugent-Hopkins

People are already forgetting that at the draft this year, Mack was quick to hop on calls to welcome the guys the Sharks had just selected. He didn't need to do that, but he's clearly putting in the work to step up as a leader on the team.

Its not even that he is too young it is that he is too selfish of a player still to be the guy setting the tone in the room. If you’re frequently ignoring coaches and regularly ducking practices then you shouldnt be the one setting the work ethic of the room.
