@lesbianightwing The problem with absolute GL is it’s an ensemble book for the most part

It is 100% a Jo book but until a few months ago you could have really argued it was a Jo and Hal co lead book

It’s incredible though even if I don’t love the art sometimes

@bearforceone3 Your expecting an account who is just bigging up multimedia project to read a comic that was your first mistake.
It has no similarities to the GL suit in the show and unlike the show the book also takes place in space for pretty much all of it.
They are clutching at straws.

@Phenomm_ Its not even the look they have in that book anyway the GL look in that is a modified astronaut suit which the show suit is not.

Like no one is going whats hal's look oh its that one its a decent book and the only good one of the line but no one thinks of it first.

@iamyomas I used to love pak but i don't want him on a big book anymore his work has gone downhill.
Namor would be the perfect al ewing character tbh with his history.

The funny thing with that book for me is how people say its the best earth one book like yeah it is because the others are utter shit.

Legion is also likely gonna be a superman book as its pretty much an open secret at this point it feels like its gonna be lead by superboy prime.

@DCFilmNews Until this is confirmed i wont believe it but Cantwell is an excellent writer both for TV and comics.
But until i see what they do in season 1 this means nothing for me

Ive read the kyle run but even when hal was dead he was still mentioned alot in the title by other members and villains.
He wasn't dead for all of it but writers also kept pitching for hal as GL

Literally writers for the period between Hal dying to his rebirth were pitching Hal Jordan stories because all the villains, supporting cast and big plotlines are Hal’s

@FlashMentality I remember them jumping in my DMs because I said the big problem I have with the superman movie is Supes doesn’t spend long enough with the daily planet and his normal supporting cast

Like yeah I expect a superman movie to feature Clark interacting with the planet more than once
