🚨 I was almost taken hostage in Cuba...
I went to Cuba to document the humanitarian crisis and show life under 60+ years of communism and now amid the US blockade. Once I landed, they seized all my cameras except my iPhone and had intelligence agents following me all day until my security noticed their spies tailing us to the hotel where they waited all night for us to come down.

Under communism there is no free speech, and those who show the reality or speak up are imprisoned. Me going without a planned Cuban government guide nearly got me and my security taken hostage or imprisoned.

The situation in Cuba is much worse than anyone knows.

I watched the first episode of the new The 'BURBS remake-

-This is the first line- "I can't believe we have a white picket fence. They're so charming and yet so micro-aggressive at the same time." Yes, white picket fences are now racist.
-Ray Peterson is now Samira Fisher, a civil litigation attorney and first time mother who is questioning living in a white neighborhood
-Her husband is a woke white British man who doesn't want his paternity leave to end, and works as a book editor
-While listening to rap in her car, a white neighbor knocks on Samira's window and yells "CAN I HELP YOU?!!'
-White neighbor judges her for listening to rap in front of her baby and it's framed as a bad thing
-White neighbor knows her husband and says- ' I heard you were.....back'
-White neighbor asks if her name is African
-Invites her to wine night and encourages her to 'pump and dump' since she's breast feeding

-After meeting her neighbors Samira describes the vibe as "it's giving GET OUT"
-Indian best friend says the neighbors were racist, until they tried to act not racist, until they eventually really weren't racist
-Tom Hanks makes a cameo as the founder of Hinkley Hills
-The highly educated lawyer Samira begins her investigation into the creepy house with google searches for- "Hinkley Hills House Old" and "Hinkley Hills Alison Grant Murder Bad"😭
-White librarian calls Samira's son a "cute little mocha munchkin"🤣 and Samira is insulted
-Creepy house goes up for sale, and sells quickly to a doctor
-Samira welcomes the new neighbor with a plate of brownies- but the new owner calls the cops on her for trespassing "new owner said they saw a black person skulking around their property"
-Cops are racist, but they know her husband so it becomes a misunderstanding
- Samira gets mad her husband is nice to the cops
-Neighbors come over to comfort Samira "we share your rage," and Samira smiles even though she called them crazy the whole episode
-Samira, no longer on the fence about living in the suburbs, decides to stay to stick it to the racist new neighbor

To be a Christian is to believe the only way to the Father, is through the Son; that there is only one way to salvation, through Jesus Christ, who is the way the truth and the life; that the entrance to heaven is a narrow gate, and we are called to be a light to the nations, to disciple the nations, and to spread the Gospel.

Basically, we believe in one universal objective truth. That means everything else is false. We are not pluralists, we do not believe there are multiple ways to gain salvation. We are not universalists, we do not believe everyone gets to heaven because there are different routes to get there. Jesus Christ is the only way.

Therefore, it is Christian to believe:

Islam is false.
Hinduism is false.
Budhism is false.
Sikhism is false.
Judaism is false.

Many modern (particularly evangelical) Christians will nod ahead with all but one of those statements. One will get you in trouble. That is because they actually believe in dual covenants, they believe in dual salvation, they believe in multiple ways to heaven. This is a false teaching they have fallen into, and they tend to get really angry about it.

There are not two parallel paths. Dual covenant theology is a modern error that needs correcting.

To love thy neighbour means bringing them to Christ. For He is the only means to salvation. Stop pandering to false religions and pretending it is the Christian thing to do. It is not. Repent.

Proclaim the Gospel to all. Jesus Christ is the one true living God.
