People hopping on 2K17 servers, Mike Wang deactivating his Twitter, cheaters still running around on 2K27…

I’ve been in this community since 2K19 and I’ve NEVER seen it in shambles like this 😭

With GTA 6 coming, 2K better lock the fuck in and listen to the community cuz wtf😶

MAGNIFIQUE !

Mike wang just pulled off the one of the BIGGEST HEIST of 2026 .

- Tweets 5-10 times a day before 2K27
- Drops 2K27 for $150 Early access
- everyone spends + $100 a build
- Gaslights the community on shooting
- 2K officially launches. Goes Ghost on X
- Then Deletes his Twitter

[jordo 🏰 @worcuh]

Nigga a bitch, ruins the game year in and year out and goes ghost

So from what I understand, people/streamers etc. found a way to play NBA 2K17 on PC again, and instead of just letting the community enjoy an old game we all loved, 2K apparently stepped in — shutting things down and even going after posts/videos about it on YouTube and social media…

If that’s really what happened, it’s honestly embarrassing. People are simply trying to enjoy a game they played like 10 years ago and have some fun with something they’re nostalgic about. Is it really necessary to interfere with even that?

I can’t help but wonder what the real reason behind this is. Is it simply because people playing NBA 2K17 aren’t buying VC and generating revenue for 2K?

At some point, you have to ask yourselves who this is actually hurting.

What a joke ass company you have become, all this income y’all making every damn year this is the most stupid shit I have ever seen @NBA2K

[COLETHEMAN @colethemanyt]
